i have created an ou(name:test)and created a group policy for that ou for
installing the adminpak.msi. note that this is a local computer i mean this
is not connected to network. after this i have taken the security option frm
the properties of group policy and set read and write permision for an
user(user1). okey, (the package is made it as published) after this logged
off and log in using the user1 account. gone to the add/remove program and i
can see the application there
i clicked install button, but it is showing that u do not have sufficient
privilages to do this operation fatal error during installation. note that
the user1 belongs to acount operators and domain users. why it is showing
like this, can anybody suggest some truble shooting steps for this? thx

I think you messed up the permissions on the share where the files lie.
Go back to the GPO security tab and grant "authenticated users" at least
"read" and "apply" rights.

cheers,
