How much memory is recommended for a Win98 laptop that
will run a VB.NET application ? The coding will be done an an XP machine
then deployed to the laptop. What files need to be loaded
on the laptop, in addition to the .NET runtime and the application
files, to successfully run the application on the laptop ?

Do you know where I can find out how much memory Microsoft recommends
for a Windows 98 machine that will run a VB.NET application ? I've searched
microsoft.com with no success.

Try it and see for yourself.

With less memory, it would run slow. But define slow

Remember your Richter, judge the preformance by what is acceptable to the
users because the memory usage of .Net apps shown in Task Manager is going
to freak you out.(http://www.smithvoice.com/memusage.htm ) .Net takes
everything it can but it gives back nice enough when the OS needs the
resources.
