Recantly I've been encountering problems downloading files (at least *.zip)
from the internet, getting error 403 (forbidden), no access to this page.
I've set the site as trusted in all running security programs installed. I've
tried using different proxies to see if my IP/IP-range is denied access but
nothing seems to help.

Is the problem only with one site? If so, the site is probably having
difficulties. If it is a public site, post the url so others can check
it out for you. If the problem is with more than one site, please post
back with how you are connecting to the Internet, what browser you are
using, and what antivirus/security software you have.

No, it's the same problem on several sites, amongst other Opera which I tried
downloading to check if I had the same with that software. Which also
comfirmed that the problem happened when trying to download both torrent- and
exe-files too.
I gave up and used systemrecovery after reading the replies to other people
having the similar type of problem though, so now I'm set back a week or so
and back to updating and instaling software and hopefully soon back to work
again. (Using mcaffee, zonealarm, IE6, WinXP SP2 Home, DSL)

Thanks for the reply though.

Glad you got it sorted. Thanks for posting back.
