Demo DB Expire After A Specific Period Of Time

Hi,

What if I create an application [demo] before it's purchased and I apply code
to do the above [subject], who's to say that the client doesn't just make a
copy of the file and that kind of underminds my whole objective.

Is there any way to prevent some one from making a copy of a ms access db?

You're talking about copy protection, not really security.

There are some programs out there which claim to work with Access databases. Serialsheld is one, although I hesitate to
recommend it - no documentation to speak of, and the tech support is definitely not great, but it does work in the
Access environment. This would provide you with a method to prevent copying a full, unlocked version from one machine to
the next.
