TRYING to in install XPHome on new system.
Am having TOOOOOO many problems
so I'll start over.
In reading much on the web and MS I understand
that fdisk will not remove NTFS partitions and
to remove them I must use delpart.exe, then run fdisk.
Has anyone used "delpart.exe" to successfully remove
NTFS partitions AND still had a functioning hard drive?
I started to run delpart.exe but it's warning screen
threatens me with world destruction if I use it.
Specifically it says it "...could render your drive
inoperable...." I don't know how to interpret that.
Does that mean I wont be able to operate it AT ALL,or
it won't operate UNTIL I fdisk and reformat again?
Any ideas will be appreciated.
