DELLBCKP.MSI Required for Install

I have a Dell 8200 PC with XP Pro. When I install the
Antispyware application, the installation is requiring
the DELLBCKP.MSI file from one of the CD's that was
shipped with the PC. When I point the installation to
this file, the program installs successfully. However,
after running OK for several days, I noticed this morning
that the Antispywhere scan was held up waiting, once
again for the DELLBCKP.MSI file. I pointed the program
to this file and the scan started and proceeded
normally. Any ideas?

This is an issue which sometimes arises with the Windows Installer.

Others with similar problems, have found that the Installer Cleanup tool,
from Microsoft, has enabled them to get past this issue and install. Here's
