When will dell get some english speaking uk guys on there helpline?

I was on the phone for 20mins speaking to some india guy trying to fix my pc.

Don,t worry i made them call me back, well i was using there 0870 number.

In the end my xp disc was damage and not my harddrive.

silly question they ask you like check the ram and remove it(How can you remove ram and on the phone at the same time),etc

My phone is,nt hands free.

How thick of these guy anyway, all there call centre are in india?

This is strictly my opinion but....

Some may question the grey matter functions of anybody who purchases a Dell.

Not up there with Mesh of course but probably ranking alongside AOL and Tiscali.

Indian call centres are the bain of modern life,i spent 30 mins on the phone last week before the guy on the other end had my name and address right.

They have,nt got a clue about pc they are reading from a screen.

The things company do today to save money.

I could do a better job or even people on here.

I`m with AOL. I`ve had cause to use their help line via India. All I can add is that they have been most helpful.
They have been very patient with me because I`m no computer wiz kid,and they go to great lengths to make sure that I understand their instructions.

I've had occasion to use AOL support and spoken to folks from all over the world with them . Overall I think their support is good .

Now I use a router so do not need to speak to them ever again .

:D
