I've been looking for a new laptop and came across the Dell Vostro 1700. It has the following spec:
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T7500 (2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 4 MB L2-cache)
Memory: 3072MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (1x1024 + 1x2048 MB)
Hard Drive: 320 GB (5400rpm) SATA Dual Hard Drive (2x 160GB)
Video Card: 256MB nVidia® GeForce® 8600M GT
Monitor: 17.0" Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display
I'm interested in getting a laptop for home use, mainly for word processing (going to university soon), games (with a reasonable standard of graphics) and general home use stuff! Is this computer suitable for my needs?
Also, it comes with Vista Buisness, how is this different to Premium? The laptop itself in £499 which is alot cheaper than equivilent laptops from Dell in the 'Home' section as this is in the 'Buisness/home' secton
