The Dell AMD Saga continues again. The plot this time revolves around the niche market player Alienware. It is a small company which produces very expensive and powerful gaming computers and workstations. The source of the rumour is none other than the main competitor of Alienware, Voodoo PC, which operates in the same niche - from its CEO, Rahul Sood to be more precise.

Start a rumour ... and get free advertisement.

Wouldn't give you tuppence for any of them. ;)

That's not to say Dell need to use AMDs or loose out. :D

Fair enough.

My first though was 'Well i wouldn't buy either of them in the first place'

I just wondered if there was any truth in it....

It could well be true, as there is no smoke without a fire. I've just seen things on blogs too though, nothing concrete.

Oh great another large usa company taking over the world, if microsoft were not enough;)

Thats right, and theres nothing you can do to stop us. :D
its a shame really, now that theres one less retailer, this means theres less competition to drive prices down. Of course Alienware was never cheap in the first place.

yep ... been reading that in the news feeds.

There goes 'quality control' ... :D
