Dell PowerEdge 4400 and SP4

I was one of those less fortunate folks who destroyed my
server with SP4. I was wondering when it will be safe to
install SP4 and if there's been a fix for this yet.

More detailed info is that I have a Dell PowerEdge 4400
running Windows 2000 Terminal Services. When SP4 was
released I installed like the good admin that I am. After
SP4 AD was destroyed and no one could log on locally or
other.

Dell claims it was a conflict with the PERC3Di controller
or Array Manager. Array Manager has been removed from the
mix but I can't take any chances.

Any Suggestions to getting my server up to date?

Thanks

If you have a test box to try it on that would be the best way to go. If
not.....try your luck, but always install with the archive option so you can
roll back if needed.

Correct. Not only that but in this particular case we
would need the exact same server / hardware and software
installed to even begin thinking about that. And even if
all those things existed it would never be a foll proof
test.

No chances taken on production machines :)

Thanks
