Hello. I've just been given the above AIO and naturally it won't work
with an iMac. However, if they're all just re-badged Lexmark machines,
what would the equivalent Lexmark driver? I am aware of how highly
thought of Dell and Lexmark are (!), but it is a freebie and I am
waiting to get some cash together for a decent Canon, Epsom or
something.

The 924 is just sitting here blinking at me...

Thanks in advance.

From what I have seen of the Dell rebranded lexmarks is the firmware in
the printer is tweaked enough that the lexmark driver for the "parent"
printer will not run it... it has to be running the proprietary Dell
driver. Same thing with the hardware (ink cart's etc). Make small
"changes" so the Lexmark cart's won't fit... only the Dell cart's that
cost twice the price fit.

I believe it's a Lexmark Z615, but I doubt the mac driver would work.
You can try if you like. Might try the Lexmark Z600 driver as well
just for laughs. That seems to be prefered in the linux world, but I
don't know mac.

I don't expect success, but who knows.

NOBODY REALLY CARES ABOUT THIS.
