Dell optical mouse prob after sp1 update

I recently updated 2 Dell comps at my office with SP1.
Immediately after the required reboot the Dell optical
mouse on both machines quit working. They are both USB,
but unplugging and reconnecting doesnt have the desired
effect. Anyone able to help with this issue? Device
manager shows the USB root hubs and what not, no
conflicts in device manager such as "?" or "!" showing
up.
 
Pete, Have you tried reinstalling your devices using your
resource cd that you got from dell. While there may be
no !,X or ? in ctl panel it may not recognize the
previous installs of your drivers. Also you might want to
goto support.dell.com and d/l the latest drivers for your
system.
