I'm trying to install this card, which worked fine with Win98SE.

When I insert the card, I get 2 gongs but nothing else. Then when I run
setup, the player shows up in my list of programs. But, when I run the
player, I get a DVD-to-Go Hardware Absence Warning saying Unable to find the
card.

The card shows up in system info as a problem device with no drivers.

I suspect the drivers are some of the files generated but they're not
getting to where they belong.

Help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the manufacturer's website for software compatible with XP>

Margi says it should work using the Win 2000 software. But, they won't
support it when used on an XP system.

Sometimes Win2000 drivers will work with XP but just as often they won't.
Drivers are the responsibility of and supplied by the hardware
manufacturers, even those at Windows Update and those included with the
operating system.

Beyond that, I can only offer the possibility that they might have a new
card compatible with XP with which you might replace your current card,
otherwise you need to look into a card from another manufacturer.
