Dell Latitude D600 - Device error

Dear all,

I've had to rebuild one of the above mentioned laptops but in device manager I'm unable to clear the error as shown in the image and I don't believe it's stopping anything from working. Tried all sorts of downloads from the Dell website. Any ideas please?

Try Everest ... http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=everesthome ... the one on the bottom of the list.

But it looks like your network card/device not being recognised.

everest should tell you what the controller is then search driverguide.com for the driver

Have you tried the service tag entry at the dell site? normally tells you what hardware you got inside.

Thanks for the advice guys. Turns out to be the wireless adaptor that was the offender. All sorted now. Picked up 8 wireless connections around me, 2 unsecured
