Dell Image

I have the "Dell Image Expert Edition" photo studio and am have problems
adding text to the photos. I am following the steps listed in the guide but
when I get to where it says type in the text all I have is the quad arrows
as the curser and I don't know how to go any further.
This is a rather new machine and I have never used this program before, it
came with the program installed.
Can anyone help me get past this hurdle?

Do you have a help file? Do you have a text tool? In some imaging programs you have
to draw a text box first.
Sometimes you will get an evaluation edition of a program with new computers and not
all of the functions will work.
