Hi,
Ocassionally, we need to monitor a staff member's email. In Exchange2000 we
can setup an alternate delivery of each message for the staff member to the
person who is responsible for monitoring the mail. That works fine.
However some other staff have used the Tracking option in Outlook and if
they send an internal message to the person being monitored, they also
receive notification that the message has been received by the monitor. This
creates a major problem because we don't want everyone to know who might be
being monitored, only the person involved and they have been advised that
this is happening.
Is there a way of preventing this receipt acknowledgement from being sent?
In the Tracking option, you can specify Never Send but it warns that this
only applies to Internet Mail.
Thanks,
John
