A frequently run report which our company uses and exports
into excel contains two #'s which we rely on.
Unfotunately when exported to excel these numbers are in
the same cell but are separated by a return(imagine
entering a number in a cell and then hitting alt+enter to
input another number in the same cell.

Does anybody know or have suggestions as to how I would go
about separating these two numbers into two different
cells?

Would be incredibly appreciated

1. Select the column of data.
2. Go to Data > Text to Columns > Delimited
3. Click in the "Other" box
4. Hold down the <Alt> key and type in 0010 on your
numeric keypad.

Insert a column to the right of your data column.

Try Data>Text to Columns>De-limited>Next>Other Hold ALT key and enter 0010 on
the NumPad.

Alternate could be 0013.

You won't see anything, but it is there. Hit Next to see results. Finish if
happy.

Thank you all for your responses. This is exactly what i
was looking for. You just saved a few days work for some
clerks here in the office. Amazing how much time has been
wasted because nobody has known how to do this!!!
Much appreciated
