Good Morning!

When you want a criteria excluded from the results set you
need to go to design view. In the criteria line type Not
and than the item you want to be excluded.

For example Not Red. All records including Red would be
excluded.

Hello,

There is more than one way to do this but I think the
easiest is to separate with Or. For example: Not Red Or
Not Green. Also you could hit your down arrow key and put
each criteria on a separate line. When you hit the tab key
Access will add the Or's for you. You will also notice
that Access adds quotation marks for you.

If you want to exclude only records that include both Red
and Green you would type: Not Red And Not Green. If you
use And, records that only include one of the criteria
will be included in your results.

I think you need AND rather than OR.

If it's green then it's Not Red; so the criterion will be True.
