deleting unwanted/unused files for harddrive

trying to delete folders and files in xp home, error
immediatedly : "cannot find source disk or file", how do
you delete these files that you know you are not using

Start- search-All files and folders-type the following in
the first box "Temporary Internet Files" and click on
search. This will take a few min's go into the folders
once it has finished searching and manually remove the
TIF
