deleting unwanted numerics from cells in coloumn

I had to differntiate mobile numbers and wiredline numbers which are there in
the same cells in a coloumn. now i dont require wiredline numbers in the
coloumn how do i delete wiredline numbers from the coloumn? thank you.

How do you differentiate wiredline from mobile numbers?

With that information, you should be able to easily set up a filter and get rid
of the one's you don't want. (Data/Filter or Data/Filter/Advanced)

Hi Ron,

how do delete unwanted numerics in the cells of a coloumn. every cell
contains duplicate numerics. i cannot replace as wanted numerics get
eliminated.

to keep it simple, how do i delete unwanted numerics in a cell without
deleting the duplicates in the same cell

I guess you did not understand my previous response.

But unless you can communicate how you tell the difference between a wanted and
an unwanted numeric, your only other option will be to select the unwanted
numeric's, and then press the <delete> key.
