I was wondering if anyone has been having a problem on
internet explorer 6.0 when trying to delete temp files by
going through tools/internet options/delete files then
clicking ok. Everytime I attempt to do that, it does not
complete and hangs. Any suggestions how to fix it?
Please email me at (e-mail address removed)
thank you. Happy Holidays.

This is a common problem with people that have alot of
temporary internet files on their computer... What is
happening is that you have so many files that when your
computer tries to delete them all it is somewhat
overwhelmed and sometimes freezes up. If it does freeze up
then restart the program, or even your computer, and try
agian, eventually all of the files will be deleted without
the program freezing. At this point i would strongly
advise you to lower the space that your computer uses for
temporary internet files so that this problem dosent occur
often. Go to Tools/Internet Options then click on the
Settings button under Temporary Internet Files. Near the
bottom lower the amount of space your computer uses for
the files... i would suggest using 50 MB of space, for
this is what i use and it is still plenty of space without
overloading your computer.

Hello David, I have had this happen to me as well. If you
hear any solutions, maybe you could let me know on
