How do I really delete temporary internet files? When I
select files to delete out of the folder they disappear,
but when I look in properties for the temporary internet
files folder, it tells me that there are almost 300MB of
files. I have windows XP. In 98 I was able to just
delete the entire folder and then create a new one, but
XP won't let me do this. Any ideas?

You should be able to do a disk cleanup from MyComputer rt click on
Drive Icon select Properties Disk Cleanup.
Also, IE>tools>internet options>General Delete cookies Delete
Files Clear History.
If you want to try System Mechanic for thirty days free. go here
www.iolo.com It does just about everything.

You could go to "Tools", at the top of the page, click on
"Internet Options". Look under "General". It will show you
where to delete temp. files. Delete them all.
You can also go to "Disk Cleanup". It's easy to delete
them there also. Lacy
