deleting temp internet files

when i attempted to delete the files i got this message
an exception has occured while trying to run
shell32.dll,control/_Run Dll"c;windows\system32
\inet.cp1",internet options

what can i do i can't even run the disc cleanup utility
to clear the files
 
Is it inet.cp1 or inet.cpl?

..cpl files are control panel files. I do not have one in my computer.

What is your current problem other than trying to delete the file.

If you must delete it and cannot under Windows.
Boot to DOS and delete it.
