I clean my computer frequently and run Norton Virus Updates and scans weekly
as well. However, I recently noticed that after cleaning my history, cache
and temporary Internet files there was still a link that remained in my
internet explorers address bar. (FYI the link is
http://www1.bottomdollar.com/rating_getprodrev.php/product_id=1382972/id_type=M/
).
I have tried deleting history, cache, temp file, temp Internet files and
folders, deleted the typed URLs in the registry, run multiple virus scans
updates and spyware programs, as well as search my computer for a file that
contains all or part of the URL. The site is not listed under my favorites
either. To add salt to the wound I have never been on that site before.
Its annoying.
Any info on how to remove would be greatly appreciated
