I've created an Outlook client rule. 2003 allows you to
create a rule that "checks messages after sending". And
I can identify who the message is sent to. But the
closest action I can take is to "Move a copy to a
specified folder" and it does just that - moves a copy to
the delete items folder and leaves the one in Sent
Items. Yes, I can select and delete them - but we're
talking about spam here. I didn't want them in the first
place; I'm forwarding them to my spam software vendor so
I won't get them again; and then I have to deal with them
again by deleting them from my Sent Items. Seems a
simple enough task to automate. Just can't make it work.
The rule I mentioned above says
"Apply this rule after I send the message
sent to (e-mail address removed)
move a copy to the Deleted Items folder"
If I knew how and could just remove "a copy" from the
above action, I'd have what I want.
