Those are in a TypedURLs key in the registry. This article explains the
TypedURLs history:

Removing some or all entries is an easy registry edit.
These two freeware programs will remove some or all entries:
IE Address Bar Editor:

EditURLs:

If you type URLs in via File> Open, instead of the address bar, they aren't
saved in the TypedURLs key
and you can keep a select few URLs in the drop-down list.

Yes, Yes...I've typed in an embarrassing looking web page in the address
bar of Explorer. Now when I click the drop down window button on the address
bar, the web page shows amongst the other web pages I typed in from the
past. I know that in other address bars you can move your mouse over it and
then hit delete and it goes. but nothing happens. Anybody know how I can
clear this "bad" address off and keep the others there? Where and what
folder is storing this history? Thanks to anyone who can help!
