Is there a way to remove all restore points? I just want to recover my
diskspace. Then I can re-create a new restore point.

Thanks

Turning off System Restore, then turning it baack on again will delete all
restore points.

Are you using the default 12% of your drive for Restore Points? For most
people that's far too much. If you try to use System Restore to go back
several weeks or months ago, you will almost certainly create all kind of
out-of-synch conditions, and make the situation *worse*, not better. That's
not System Restore's purpose and you should not think of it in those terms.
A week or two is about the longest time you can effectively go back.

For that reason, the default 12% of the drive that Windows uses for SR is
way too much for almost everyone, and should be lowered to give you at most
two weeks.

Disk Cleanup has an option to remove all but the last.

3% is quite adequate for most folks....

Dependent on the size of the hard drive, of course.

Thanks, I usually have mine set at 3% but recently up that to 5%.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. Glad to help. But my view is that you shouldn't be concerned
with the percentage, but with how many days worth of restore point you get.
A week or two is all you need, and what percentage with give you that many
is lower on a big drive than on a small one.
