Deleting Restore Files After a SP Upgrade

When you install a SP, the option is given to allow a restore back to
the previous configuration. I assume this takes up hard drive space.
If I no longer am interested in being able to restore back, how do I
find the files to cleanup and free up some hard drive space?

The directories are under c:\winnt\system32 they start
with a $uninstall and are hidden so you will have to set
explorer to show hidden files.
