Go>start\run and type in msconfig and click ok. Now click the startup tab and uncheck any program that you don't want starting at bootup. If you need the registry route to clear entries from this list then e:mail me and I can give it to you. Welcome to the eXPeriance. {:~)

Hi

From Start>Run type

msconfig

then click on the Startup tab. Uncheck any programs in there that you don't want running when Windows starts.

I assume you don't want to delete them, but stop them from
starting automatically (to delete them, use Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs)

On each program you don't want to start automatically, check its
Options to see if it has the choice not to start. Many can easily
and best be stopped that way. If that doesn't work, run MSCONFIG
from the Start | Run line, and on the Startup tab, uncheck the
programs you don't want to start automatically.
