Hi,
There is no direct way to do it other than deleting one at a time, here are
some other ways you may want to try:
1) Do a search on the group, set it to look for all posts received before a
certain date. After it runs, click edit/select all, then delete or edit/move
to folder, and select deleted items. Then empty the deleted items folder.
2) Create a rule - tools/message rules/news - to delete posts older than xx
days (for instance I use 7). Then, apply it to the group or server. Theis
will remove the older posts.
When finished with either of these methods, you will want to compact folders
to improve efficiency. Click file/work offline/file/folder/compact all
folders. Ensure this is done while you are offline to prevent corruption of
the mail store. Downloading new messages while compacting has been known to
cause that to happen. Go back online (click file/work offline again to
uncheck it) when finished.
