I want to format my entire HD. The problem is that when I enter Disk
Management and right-click on the partition C (System) that is about
30 GB (my documents) i dont get the option for Delete partition. Why?
There is also one more partition D:(Boot) for Windows XP which is 8
GB. From now on I would like to have only ONE partition C: Can you
tell me how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

As I said I have two partitions.

After I make a clean instal on one of them I am still stuck with the other
one. I dont know if you understud my question well. I have partitioned my HD
to C drive and D drive. I only want to have one drive now. I still don't see
where in the Windows XP clean instal setup I can delete the other partition
that I dont need. I only see the option to format one of them and install
Windows XP on it.

Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Thanks!

The Windows XP CD is bootable and contains all the tools necessary
to partition and format your drive. Follow this procedure and allow
Windows XP to partition and format your drive:

1. Open your BIOS and set your CD Drive as the first bootable device.
2. Insert your Windows XP CD in the CD Drive and reboot your
computer.
3. You'll see a message to boot to the CD....follow the instructions.
4. The setup menu will appear and you should elect to delete the
existing
Windows partitions, then create a new partition, then format the
primary
partition (preferably NTFS) and proceed to install Windows XP.

5. Clean Install Windows XP

6. After installing Windows XP, be sure and visit the support website
of the manufacturer of the computer to download and install any
available Windows XP compatible drivers, such as video adapter
and audio drivers.

Follow the link I gave in my previous post.
Delete ALL partitions in step 5.
Then simply follow the prompts.
Or
For Nicholas link, delete all partitions in step 9.
