When I delete or move an e-mail, from the inbox, the e-mail listing turns gray and a line goes through the sender's name and the date. How do I get the e-mail listing to disappear?

How do I turn this feature off
I what the message to disappear when I delete it or move it, not turn gray and have a line through it.
This didn't happen before we changed to IMAP. Does that have anything to do with it

You don't. That's how you permanently delete I MAP messages.
