I did search for this topic and couldn't find it, so I hope I'm not annoying anyone by asking if it has been asked already.
I have Windows XP and it says I'm running out of disk space. So I have been looking for files that I may not need so I can delete them. I did a Google search to see what would come up and found that I should put the "$NtUninstallKB923980$" files on a disk to keep just in case. If I do this, can I delete these files? Can I delete "KB873333.log" files too?
I am eventually getting a new computer, but I don't know when. It's a work computer, so it's not up to me! So until then I'm trying to figure out how to make my system work a little faster. I do have a lot of graphic programs on it which is why I am getting a new one. I have seen other forums where people say you can delete them, but I'm a little hesitant because I obviously do not totally understand what these files are for!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
