Hi

We have someone who's trying to delete blocks of about 400
messages from her sent items or other folders in outlook
2002, getting error 'there is not enough memory available
to perform the operation'. She is able to delete about 10
at a time. Microsoft site posts the following:

SYMPTOMS
When you try to delete more than 4,000 messages at one
time, you may receive one of the following error messages:
There is not enough memory available to perform the
operation
Some items could not be deleted. They were either moved or
already deleted, or access was denied.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because Outlook can handle a bulk
deletion of no more than 4,000 messages when it is working
with a server message store.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, delete fewer than 4,000
messages in a single operation.

Would the message store settings have something to do with
having this problem at a much smaller block of 400
messages instead of 4000??

Thanks for the help
