After searching my c drive to add files to windows media
player, I now have every sound on my hard drive in the
playlist. How do I delete all of these at one time and
start over?

Leftclick (highlight) the first one, then hold down the
Shift key and click the last one, that will highlight the
entire list in between. Rightclick anywheres on the
highlighted listings and click Delete. That will send
the entire listing to the Recycle Bin. You can also use
the Ctrl key instead of the Shift key to select
individual listings one-at-a-time.
