Deleting MS DOS Files

Hi, somebody sent me some ms dos files via msn, and now my pc keeps crashing,
and I can`t open msn!! I`ve tried to delete them using cmd window, but don`t
know the prompts... can anyone help, or let me another way to delete them?

Was this someone you KNOW and were you EXPECTING these files?
 
Sorry mate, I don`t understand?, bear in mind I know nothing aboyt pc`s
whatsover!!, sorry!, could you explain it to me like i`m a 5 yr old!
 
It was a mate, and she was sending me some pics!,and I think one was supposed
to be a screen saver!, now they`ve hooked onto my c drive, and when I go in
and delete em, they keep coming back. Also if I`ve got msn open, they send
themselves to anyone i`m talking to and crash their pc!, nightmare!

Then you've got one or more viruses.

DO THIS IMMEDIATELY. Download, install and update one of the free
antivirus programs. AVG or Avast seem to be the favourites. Do a FULL
scan and get rid of any virus-contaminated files.

NEVER open a file from ANYONE before scanning with an up-to-date Anti
virus program.
 
Since your subject line indicated (to me anyway) that you were looking for a
way to delete MS DOS files (or files for that matter) and you've tried
deleting them through the command windows and did not know which commands
(and parameters) to use to do that, I thought I'd direct you to the
information on that subject already present on your system.
To get at that information go to
Start,
Help and Support Center,
Choose the option in the right column that reads: Use Tools....etc.
Then in the left column click on the option Command Line Reference a..z
and then in the right hand side display scroll down to the letter D and
click on the link named: del
That will bring up information on the Del command that you could use in the
command window to get rid of one or more files on your system.
In order to be able to enter something in that 'command window' you go to
Start,
Choose Run
and type cmd in the box.
Next hit enter and this will bring up your command window in a nice black
shade.
You will get a so called command prompt after which you simply type the
command you want executed (including any parameters needed) and then hit
enter again to have the command perform the requested function.

Now to be honest, judging from your description of what is happening, your
system behaves like it has been infected by some virus (nice present you got
there!). Others already suggested ways of possibly getting rid of the virus,
but IMHO if executing a simple command like del is (apparently) already over
your head, I fear you using such programs comes close to having a kid play
with matches.
Why? Because you'll very likely use them blindly without really knowing
what's going on.
Chances are you're going get burned.
