Deleting Mistakes

After trying many times to make a movie and finally being able to do so with
your help, I am just wondering if I can just delete all the mistakes I have
before I was able to finally do it. I saved my final movie in my videos and I
would like to delete all the mistakes i.e. in the edition screen of windows
movie maker and also in my videos folder - can I do this. Thanks

Truth is...I'm not sure what the question applies to.

If your 'mistakes' are early saves that you were
not happy with of course you can delete them...
just be sure to hold on to all the original source
files until the project is completed.

If the 'final movie' is in the .wmv or .avi format
it is a single file and parts cannot be removed
unless you 'split' it / delete the unwanted portions
and then re-save it. Things like effects, transitions
and titles cannot be altered unless you add new
ones and basically...you would be creating a new
project.

If you are referring to the .mswmm project file...
yes you can continue to edit it until you are
happy with the result at which time you would
save it as a movie.
 
Hi - I know my question was not too clear but I think I understand your
answer. You may hear from me again as I am so new to this. This was my first
movie and I do have it saved now and I have emailed it to a lot of friends
thanks to your instructions that you sent to me - "you send it program".
