Deleting messages

Before I upgraded to Outlook 2003, I was able to click on
a message to open it, I could read the full message, then,
if I deleted that message, I would then be transferred to
my next message, and it was fully opened so I could read
it.

Now, when I open a message, read it, and delete it,
instead of going to the next message, I get transferred
back to the full list in my "Sent" box. Which means I
have to click on the next message and read it, delete it,
click on the next message, read it, delete it, etc. I
delete about 200 messages a week from my "Sent" mail, so
if I have to continuously go back and forth, I'll go
nuts. Can I configure Outlook to delete messages like it
was doing before? I want to open a message, delete it,
then be shown the next fully opened message.
