Deleting messages

I cannot delete about 9 messages in Microsoft Mail. When I try to delete I
get "An unkown error has occurred". When I try to open the message, it is not
there.
How do I delete the "headers"?

Use this Microsoft fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

Although Outbox is the only folder mentioned, it will remove stuck
messages from all folders.
