Kathy

I have a new problem with deleting mail. I have to Mark as Read everything in my Deleted folder before it will delete.
Also if I delete out of my inbox it does not go to the deleted folder (like it used to) but is deleted perm. from there.
Anyone know what I need to do to fix?

Maybe you have a problem with the 'Shift key', is it stuck down?

Turn the keyboard over and whack out any crumbs etc?

Try another keyboard.

Nope nothing wrong with Shift Key.
Keyboard is clean.

The joys of windows mail
I have a similar problem except I cannot delete the deleted mails at
all - they just keep piling up & are hidden as well. When I click
properties I see 300+ mails & some unread but cannot delete or view
them.

My mail is also keeping mails I reply to in OUTBOX & it keeps reminding
me there are mails to be sent but it doesn't move them to sent.

A most frustrating problem. I tried to download the suggested KB941090
for 'update to resolve an issue where messages become stuck in the
Outbox and cannot be deleted when using Windows Mail" but my compute
says 'this update does not apply to your system' (even though I am
runing 32 bit)

Most frustrating ....

Anyone else have similar problems?

Hi Dee7, try WMUtil from here http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx
Read the instructions.
If you have Vista SP1, that hotfix was included in that update, maybe your
problem existed prior to the update?
Anyway try the tool to repair & compact your database.

Let us know how you get on please?
