deleting mail folders

After I updated to office 03 my send an recieve functions did not work, then
I followed instructions given in this community, now my send and recieve
functions work perfect but all of my folders, rules and emails are gone! Are
they gone permenantly or can I import them somehow? Please help.

Enable searching for hidden files and folders and search your hard drive for
files with ".pst" as the extension. You'll probably find your old data in
the (hidden) folder C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook . In Outlook, click
FIle>Open>Outlook Data File, browse to one of the PSTs you found in the
above search, select it, and click OK. You should be able to see the data
it contains and if it's what you want, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and,
in the "Delivery new e-mail to the following location" drop-down, select
this PST. STop and restart Outlook, right-click the roots of each of the
other PSTs you have in the Navigation Pane, and choose Close. You should be
back to normal then.
