Hello

Recently my little brother deleted lsass.exe and now i can't log onto my computer, it just starts and where the log in would be it just stays on the blue screen. I can't use the computer now, so how could i fix this and access my programs/files and such. Thanks for any help

The easiest way if you have hi speed internet access [for service pack and critical
updates downloads] is to pop the install cdrom in the drive and boot from it and
follow the instructions in the link below to do an in place upgrade install. When you
are done you will need to reinstall first your service pack and then your critical
updates from Windows Update site at no more then five at a time. First try booting
into safe mode as an administrator and if that works run sfc /scannow on it or using
the Recovery Console logging on as administrator to copy it from the \winnt\dllcache
folder into the \winnt folder.. --- Steve
