Is there a way to delete a locked Access database without
having to reboot the server. I have a database that has
crashed and I know no one is using it. So, I just want to
delete it or reset the .ldb.

Is that possible?

If no one is using it, then the file system on the server should let you
delete the file, provided you would have the permissions to do so in the
first place. The leftover ldb file will cause Access to thing the database
is locked by another user, but shouldn't affect the server's file system.
Give it a try, you'll either be able to delete it or you'll get an "access
denied" message. Deleting the leftover ldb file will hopefully be sufficient
to get Access working again.

Thank you Wayne.
