Please forgive if I don't use the correct terms as I am REALLY new to Access
but this is what I need:

I need to 'cut' a link from an old database in order for it to link to a new
database but I am unable to find where to re-deirect the link from one place
to another in Access. Can anyone help? I will be most appreciative!

Tools > Database Utilities > Linked table manager select the
ones you want to change, click OK, then browse to the data
base you want to link. Make sure the box to prompt for a new
location is checked.
