Deleting large messages already sent

I mistakenly sent a message with a very large file
attached, about 112MB. I thought that I revised the file
before I sent it out. The message no longer appears in
the sent items folder, however everytime that I connect to
the internet, my computer starts sending data somewhere (I
am assuming that it's trying to send this file). The
recipient has not seen the message yet. How do I delete
this email/file from being sent out. I have a dial-up
connection and it's taking forever! The connection got up
to about 75MB after about 6 hours over the weekend adn
then disconnected. It's really bogging down my system to.
I just want to delete it. I actually removed Outlook from
my machine, but I still get the same thing when I connect
to the internet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look in the Outbox as opposed to Sent Items, and you should see it
there. You may have to cancel your send/receive before you can delete the
message from there.

Wait a sec... you uninstalled Outlook, but this still happens?

So... what makes you think it's Outlook that's doing it then?

Or have I misunderstood?

I really don't know if it's outlook anymore.....now it
happens when I connnect to internet....it's like the file
i sent is stuck in a cache and it won't stop sending until
the file is completely sent or something.

no, and then I deleted it from the sent items folder and
then from the deleted folder....I even deleted the file
off of my Hard drive and my recent folder. My system is
still trying to send something every time I connect to the
internet, so I am just assuming that it is this same email
attachment file.
