Deleting Histroy Files

I cannot get my Internet Explorer History files to delete. Every time I
click on the Histroy Icon I get the full histroy list. How do I delete it, I
have tried everything I can think Of

On the tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Under History, click Clear History.

You might also try the following and see if it helps:

Clear History



Tools>Internet Options>General tab
In the Number of days to keep History window, set it to zero

Then on General tab > Click the Clear History tab
Click Delete Files tab
Click Delete Cookies tab
Click Apply

also...if you are still not able to delete the History folder, then try the
following:

CCleaner

To delete the History folder and index.dat (XP)

Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder and reboot.
(or log on as another user that has Administrator privileges)
Example: "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.
