The Help file describes how to add a font, but strangely
there is no mention of how to delete a font from Windows
XP. Windows will not allow me to simply drag the font to
the trash.

Some fonts are required by the OS to work properly. Be careful not to delete
those.

did you ever get any other replies to your question besides hounddog's? I also want to know how to delete fonts.

Hi Cherry,

In Control Panel, click "Appearance and Themes". There should be "See also:
fonts". Click that, and it opens your folder of fonts. You can right-click
individual fonts and select "Delete", or select multiple fonts and use your
delete key.

(If you use Control Panel in "classic view", just double-click "Fonts")
