deleting files

hi,
im having a problem clearing my recycle bin. i deleted
about 12 photos, and they were sent to the "recycled"
folder. i went into the "recycled" folder to delete them
permenently and they will not delete. i need to delete
not only from the disc but from the system completely
because i am sorting through old pictures. thanks for
your help

What happens if you right click the recycle bin icon
on your desktop and choose..."Empty Recycle Bin"?
