Deleting Files

After successfully completing a movie, I'd like to delete the
no-longer-needed files to save disk space. I assume the "project"
file, which is in My Videos, can be deleted. I can't locate the
"collections" file to delete it. What's the directory location of the
"collections" file?

Any reason to save these two files on CD? CDs are cheap, and I could
save them, but I don't see a reason to.

You can delete the .mswmm file if you are certain
you will not have a need to re-edit the project in the
future. It does not include the source files....pictures,
video clips, music files, etc...if you wish to delete
them you will have to go to the original folders you
imported them from.

The collections folders can be deleted from within
Movie Maker with a right click/delete.

Thank you. I don't re-use the film cartridge itself. I use a new
one, so I could re-capture from the cartridge.
