Matt

When I try to delete a possible adware file it gives me a
warning that says: Cannot delete wupdater: Access is
denied. I am in a administrative account and I cannot
figure out why it will not let me delete this file. Any
help would be much appreciated!

The file you are trying to delete may be a porgram that is running in the
background. It then cannot be deleted while the program is running. To stop
it from running, Ctrl+Alt+Del and go to the list of processes, see if you
can find a process with the same name. 'End Process' it, and then try
deleting.

Thank you very much sir, that has also happened with
some other files and now I should be able to get rid of
those tricky ba**ards. Much appreciation!

I recently tried to restore my computer, and re install my microsoft software. Some how now I have lost some files, and have duplicates of others. When I try to delete the duplicates, I receive a CAN NOT DELETE warning, and that my files are in a read only file? Help
